This role required leadership in handling the logistics process from the manufacturer's floor, all the way to handing off to freight payment.Notable accomplishments while in this position: - Successful delivery of over 3,000 Wind Turbine Generators in North America - Controlled and maintained an annual budget of approximately $400 Million. - Developed 7 new Rail Distribution facilities in the US and CAN - Developed 4 online workflow management tools designed specifically for the needs of the end Customer - Led a team of Analysts responsible for contracting and fulfilling over 19,000 super-load category truckload moves in 2012 alone - Managed the process by which Analysts contracted services from all modes of transportation: Rail, Truck, Ocean Vessel, Air and Barge, as well as Surveyors and Crane and Rigging services
