  - Designing and implementing electrical designs in production scale robotic medication dispensers.- Primary engineer within the electrical R&D Division of the company.- Position focusses on analyzing the current system for weak points, proposing economical and efficient updates for our automated prescription drug dispenser’s electrical systems, developing prototypes of proposed upgrades, collecting/analyzing prototype data and comparing it to collected data from unmodified field units, refining the prototype for large scale implementation and working with Field Service Engineers on a procedure to integrate improvements on dispensers already in the field. - Traveling with Field Service Engineers on-site to provide assistance on downed dispensers presenting uncommon electrical problems to ensure the error is both documented and resolved efficiently. - Coordinating closely with the Mechanical Design Team to work on designing followed by implementing electrical/mechanical solutions.- Working alongside the Software Team to fully integrate electrical solutions into the system. I Additionally, I provide observations of how the software might be updated to better the product based on data obtained through R&D system testing and field reports from live dispensers at client sights. - Initiating regular conversations with the IT Second Level Support Team between calls to gain insight of the most recent device errors experienced in the field. If the problem was resolved, determining an automated series of steps which might be implemented in a system update to initiate an automated recovery instantaneously if the same error state is triggered to successfully complete a dispense without IT involvement.
