I can't speak to Rick's accounting and finance skills, as I did not see that part of his responsibilities. For my lab employees and me as well, we dealt with Rick in his role as HR and Benefits administrator. In every case we dealt with Rick, he was quick to get an answer for us. Furthermore when one deals with Rick one knows he genuinely cares and is being fair.This was a small part of the duties Rick was charged with, but for so many of his co-workers he will be remembered fondly for his eagerness to give whatever help he could. This despite a hectic schedule and long hours at work.
