  As project coordinator I was responsible of Smart Kalasatama’s co-operation with its residents, coordinate living lab activities such as events and workshops and developed methods and tools for co-creation. Kalasatama, an old harbour area in Helsinki, is being built into a world class model district of smart urban development. The area is developed through agile piloting, and the use of ICT technology and data. Smart Kalasatama grows from the collaboration between the city, companies and residents. The aim is to inspire residential participation and create new business and innovations.I also worked with Flexi Space (Joustotilat) project, that developed a flexible space sharing service in Kalasatama area and coordinated an international REFILL project on Helsinki's side. REFILL aimed at sharing knowledge on use and activation of vacant spaces between several European cities.Forum Virium Helsinki is a smart city innovation unit within the Helsinki City Group. We develop digital services and urban innovations in cooperation with companies, the City of Helsinki, public sector organizations, and Helsinki residents. Our development projects are experimental in nature: we test things together and learn along the way. This leads into new ways of working and innovating.

  When working at the Finnish Institute in London, I was part of the team working with Oppi Festival. Oppi 2014 happened in Helsinki, Finland. It was 2 days of inspiration, challenges, debates, ideation, connections, fun and beer. We had 1000 festival goers from all over the world. 129 contributors from over 25 countries lead 70 sessions.
