In the creation of places where people actually want to live, work and play, storytelling is a vital tool in forming a relationship with its users.it should come as no surprise that in the best spaces this doesn't happen organically but is meticulously thought through and designed. Individuals like Erich who help us craft these stories understand this, and are especially valuable in dragging the often opaque language of design into a wider audience where it can be understood, appreciated and celebrated. Erich and I worked closely together at IA, where we not only focused on projects already created, but engaged with the much more difficult task of imagining those still to come. His strategic questioning, strong sense of organisation and marketing skill made him the ideal collaborate to bring imagination to life. I will really miss these qualities when he leaves but know that these are the same qualities that will make him thrive elsewhere. I look forward to seeing what he does next.

Those campaigns were successful because of his involvement. For example, he would suggest, not only ways to get the best imagery and content on-screen, but how using them could maximize digital virality and ROI by utilizing the proper platforms and channels. Erich's joyful disposition enabled him to encourage me to stay on track during production schedules - without getting frustrated with my association's often-last-minute habits - always helpful, not pushy. As an account manager, I was responsible for managing projects from start to finish. I was often integral in proposal preparation and costing, and in creating and maintaining project schedules through our project management software. While setting up project checkpoints and providing initial approvals, I was also responsible for pursuing new business, and communicating with our clients to make sure they were aware of our progress, kept abreast of any potential threats to timely project completion, and kept in the loop on any changes in delivery. Oftentimes this involved changing the project timeline or adjusting resources to best suit the project's requirements. During the time I was acting project manager, I was a part of the team that helped to increase profitability of our largest client by over 100%, and helped to grow gross sales by more than 30% over the previous year.
