As the Technical Director/Coordinator of the theater at Allens Lane Art Center, I am have participated in all the technical and organizational needs of all productions mounted on the Allens Lane Theater Stage since the end of the 17-18 season. Each season includes 4 main productions, Reader's Theater series, Speaker Series, 1 Christmas production, class showcases, and 1-3 fundraisers.I am thrilled that this position has allowed me to meet so many wonderful artists, technicians, and volunteers. I am also excited to be working with Allens Lane to develop and launch a formalized program for community members interested in learning more about Theater Tech! This position includes daily household management, pet care, and the most important role: helping to raise 2 wonderful, intelligent, and kind girls under the age of 6.I have additionally had the opportunity to participate in a Nanny-Share with neighbors of the family that I primarily nanny for. May-June of 2019 I am lucky to add a 4 month old to the group of young ones I care for daily. Detailed responsibilities below.- Put the absolute safety of the children before all other responsibilities. - Tend to children’s basic needs (bathing, dressing, changing diapers, brushing teeth, feeding, naps).- Maintain the cleanliness of the home.- Administer over the counter medicine to the children when needed; prescription medicine as directed.- Prepare meals during scheduled hours- Supervise & participate in all children's activities- Limit screen access (TV, Computer, iPad, etc.)- Research & plan activities that have substantial child development, social relationship skills, & educational value.- Keep a daily nanny journal with a narrative of the children’s meals, nap times, medications, activities, & developmental progress. - Keep children’s bedrooms & play areas clean and organized, with the help of children as age appropriate- Complete children’s laundry, once per week.- Use Nanny’s automobile to drive children to activities & events. This includes drop off/pick up at school, weekly classes and events (ex. Music Class, Library story time, play dates) & occasional outings (ex. Children’s Museum, Zoo, etc.). - Keep stock of household items & update Family on needs. Use Nanny’s automobile to complete grocery shopping, when requested. Complete errands as needed (ex. bank, dry cleaners, post office, etc).- Grant access to home for service personnel, when directed. Supervise work, as directed by family.- Provide a varied & balanced diet for children.
