Homeschool Teacher/Tutor
-
Aug 2011 - May 2016
In August 2011, I began teaching a year-long homeschool music class to thirty 5-12 year old students in the Wendell area. I designed this class from the ground up, focusing on the history of music as well as technical skills with the recorder and singing. This class ended in May 2012, when I graduated and moved to Boone, North Carolina. From August 2012-May 2013, I offered my services as a tutor to small groups of students, primarily in English Language Arts. Beginning in August 2013, I worked as a nanny and instructor for a family in the Boone area. I lived with and taught them until May of 2015. During the 2015-2016 school year, I taught a middle-school German course to two students between 11-12 years of age. Show less
