  SHAKE Africa is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to the education and empowerment of young people on issues surrounding sexual and reproductive health. SHAKE Africa implements this by providing accurate and up-to-date information and tackling issues on sexual health and contraception including changing sexual health narratives across Africa. My responsibilities include and are not limited to the following. ▪︎ Participate in expansion activities. ▪︎ Assists in managing the daily performance of the operations team. Use good meeting and project planning practices to drive focus and results ▪︎ Define and implement a long-term strategy for SHAKE’s key partnerships & sponsorship. ▪︎ Procure & evaluate new sponsorship & partnership opportunities based on the needs of SHAKE Africa. ▪︎ Work with the wider digital & SEO marketing team to ensure that other areas benefit, for example utilizing partnerships for SEO benefit. ▪︎ Seek new and relevant sponsorship and partnerships opportunities to help drive new acquisition opportunities ▪︎ Generate creative ideas to help maximise and activate brand activities across SHAKE. ▪︎ Writing high quality external communications documents, including sponsorship marketing materials as required (working closely with the events team).

Youth Empowerment and Development Initiative (YEDI)

  ▪︎ Speerheaded the expansion of YEDI into Abuja which was to serve as the springboard into Northern Nigeria.▪︎ Effectively planned and carried out a Situation Analysis at the initial process of expansion into Abuja with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team. ▪︎ Carried out Focus Group Discussions with community stakeholders and participants at different levels of the programs.▪︎ Led a Curriculum Review Workshop to review and analyze the Girls only curriculum for its relevance and acceptability in the North.▪︎ Provided administrative and field support for staff members during program implementations.▪︎ Coordinated the Girls project from the funds received by the German Government's Ministry of Commerce which took place in 4 Secondary Schools and in 2 communities in Gwagwalada Local Government Area in the Federal capital.▪︎ Coordinated the Girls project (SKILLZ GIRLS) since 2017 from the funds received from the Football for Hope Foundation now FIFA Foundation and around 3000 young girls in and out of schools have graduated from the project.▪︎ Conducted 6 Summer Holiday Camp Programs between year 2018 and 2019 in marginalised communities in Abuja▪︎ Facilitated the training and retraining of over 70 coaches/community volunteers using evidence based curriculum.▪︎ Conducted Specialised Training Sessions with Health Experts for the Coaches. ▪︎ Prepared consolidated progress reports on all the program interventions for project management.▪︎ Carried out Field Support Visits to ensure the quality and development of the field coaches/peer educators. ▪︎ Worked with Senior Case Managers to coordinate team development activities and trainings.▪︎ Monitored team performance of over 70 community volunteers including developing performance improvement plans.▪︎ Strengthened and Maintained relationship with all stakeholders at different program levels such as the appropriate Government Agencies, NGOs, Schools, etc.▪︎ Data entry and analysis into the Salesforce.

  ▪︎ Supervised all Program Implementation in the state.▪︎ Successfully reached out to over 3000 young adults with program interventions on HIV Prevention, Malaria Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Adolescent Health and Life Skills.▪︎ Strengthened the relationship between YEDI and SOS Children's Village in Ijebu, Ogun State.▪︎ Partnered with SOS Children's Village and the Ogun State Action Committee against HIV/AIDS to mark the World Aids Day in Owu-Ijebu community in Ogun State.▪︎ Piloted YEDI's first Skillz Holiday Camp for 300 young children between the ages of 11 - 17 in schools and out of school in the state.
