  Description: In volunteering for Humboldt Mediation Services, I serve my community by teaming with co-mediators, trainers, volunteers, & board members to provide conflict resolution services for disputes of all kinds, including divorce & separation, child custody, family conflict, workplace or business conflict, property conflict, & tenant-landlord conflict.Our Community Board style of mediation encourages communication, collaborative resolution, & win-win solutions as an alternative to costly court cases & ongoing conflicts.Humboldt Mediation Service's goal is to work locally toward global peace by providing community members & organizations with community-based peacemaking tools.My interest & passion for this work has improved my methods & understanding of communication. I am confident & able to apply & share knowledge that encourages thoughtful, proactive & impactful communication.
