I was lead spokesperson and responsible for managing and synchronizing communication efforts of several hundred geographically-dispersed public affairs specialists to ensure transparent, active engagement with employees, local communities and national media. Communication focused on navigation of waterways, ports and harbors; public recreation on water and parks; hydropower production; water supply; emergency and flood reduction dams and levees; environment and ecosystem cleanup, restoration and enhancement; and support to the military, other agencies and governments around the world.
