I have known Brett in a professional capacity for 4 years. During this time I have found Brett to be a respected leader, technically strong support manager and positive customer advocate. Brett is respected equally by his team, colleagues and customers. respected highly by his technical team and customers

Frank Braun

I would like to express my appreciation for Brett's level of dedication and contribution to my company. Brett commands respect as one of the most competent Customer Service Managers I have ever worked with. His gets things done, his ability to see the possibilities and find innovative solutions to make things work, and his genuine caring for my organisation has earned a place of trust among my IT Team. Brett shows great commitment and took accountability. His awareness of the 24/7 business's operation and wiliness to service outside the normal hours avoided costly business interruptions and is highly commended. I am very happy to express my acknowledgment of appreciation for a job well done.

The role of Senior Manager, Customer Service is a most fulfilling role. I lead a team of engineers and account managers that ensure that EMC's customers and partners in Victoria and Tasmania are operating their businesses successfully on EMC infrastructure. Our goal was to always minimise the customer business risk by executing the support and maintenance contract in a proactive and predictive manner. As the Senior Manager, Customer Service at EMC, I was responsible for all aspects of the operational support and maintenance in Victoria and Tasmania. I have a team of approximately 16 staff including engineers who provide the hands and feet to all manner of EMC hardware. I am directly responsible for: - Ensure customers receive the right level of support for all hardware and software related issues, - Manage the efficacy of the partner delivery of EMC infrastructure and manage service partners to ensure consistent and effective service levels, - Leading the team of local software specialists, field supervisors, account service representatives and service account managers - Driving customer escalations - Managing operational metrics to ensure customer satisfaction - Manage the operational financial goals for VIC and TAS - Motivate and energise the technical personnel in my team Show less

Having opted for a Sea Change, I pursued my passion of golf and of my home club Sanctuary Lakes. I am now in the fortunate position of running my golf club. This involves operating the golf club itself including maintaining the members base, the course itself, organising tournaments and events and managing a 100 seat restaurant and 120 seat function room.
