  Akron, NY I spent the summer working both in the office and in the field on transportation projects. I learned the bidding process and worked on quantity takeoff estimations for cost assessment. My work in the field included payroll, MURK sheets for unforeseen costs with the NYSDOT, and parts running. Majority of my time spent in the field was to teach me the processes associated with construction jobs and the common hardships associated with them.

  Buffalo, NY I was the Design Project Manager for the UB Seismic Design Team and my responsibilities included creating the design for a 19 story, balsa wood model skyscraper. I led a team of 20 students and brought together a multitude of different ideas into one design. I modeled the tower in SAP2000 myself and created the renderings in AutoCad Fusion 360. My team and I went to the EERI Seismic Design Competition and placed 9th out of the 40 teams competing from around the world.
