BGC Engineering is a ~400 person international engineering consulting firm specializing in applied earth sciences. BGC’s enterprise software products are bringing digital transformations to mining, oil and gas, transportation, and municipal sectors. My Role:Leading the discovery, development and delivery of SaaS products to transform data and risk management in the mining industry. I discovered and validated key problems and market opportunities with potential users and customers. I developed product vision, product strategy and a multi-year product roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders and company leadership. I collaborated with designers and developers across multiple scrum teams to design, develop and deliver a multi-million dollar software product.

Providing engineering design, analysis and planning of tailings dams and dam-related infrastructure for large-scale mining projects. Overseeing site-wide geotechnical instrumentation infrastructure including instrument automation, instrument maintenance, data management and analysis.

Drafted eight proposal submissions for major municipal infrastructure projects. Provided contract analysis as part of the independent certification team for the Port Mann Highway 1 project, a major infrastructure project in the Lower Mainland.
