Henry is the voice of the end-user. What makes him an asset to my team is that he filters out the layers of complexity to expose the core of an application's fundamentals. In our line of work, that tends to mean many different sites and many different applications. His approach is sound and he exercises patience. Those are what I find to be most valuable. He will do what's right and not what's popular. His test cases are detailed from A to Z and he is able to negotiate common ground with all facets including developers, project managers and stakeholders. The protocols are clean with Henry. If it doesn't pass QA it doesn't go out, period. His ethics are solid and it allows for the developer to do their jobs with better efficiency. I definitely see myself working with him again given the opportunity.

Henry Kim reported to me when I was the Software and Connectivity Quality Assurance Manager at Powerware/Eaton. He was charged with leading a team of ten test technicians and with testing systems composed of software, hardware, operating systems, and connectivity. He was excellent as either a leader or a team player. His many strengths such as professionalism, attention to detail, initiative, technical ability, and intelligence made him highly effective, not only at finding and describing defects himself, but also and at writing test plans that enabled his team to be highly effective at finding defects. He was very well respected among the programmers, developers, and engineers that he worked with one-on-one on a daily basis for his ability to find, troubleshoot, describe, document, and find workarounds for complex defects and to help resolve them. I would consider Henry to be an extremely valuable asset on any team of mine.
