Timo was very well connected within the Japanese Telecommunications and IT vendor lines of business, and had his finger right on the pulse of the industry. Timo was instrumental in connecting me with Ascend Communications Japan and getting my professional technical career off to the right start in Japan. The direction he helped set has stood me in good stead for many years since.
