I directed multiple Flight Operations & Crew Technology product delivery teams in support of crew scheduling and flight service business units. Each team is a compliment of a software development manager, architect, project manager, build/deployment engineer, developers, business analysts and, QA personnel. Technical development platforms include .NET, Java and Mainframe. Accomplishments:Led the successful delivery of mid-range product applications (9 in total) specified in the collective bargaining agreement between AA and the flight attendant union. These efforts were a major piece of the company wide Full Operational Integration (FOI) initiative which consolidated 32,000 flight attendants on a common set of business systems.Oversaw ongoing maintenance and support of existing crew websites and services such as Pilot and Flight Attendant Portals, Crew Data Repository, Annual Vacation Bid and Award / Vacation Management System and L-US APIS process integration with TSA.Successfully delivered crew technology support for Passenger Shared Services (PSS) and Single FOS Partition (SFP) merger initiatives.Reorganized technical resources from a pooled resource concept into cross functional product application focused teams.Established automated builds, continuous integration and test automation to existing software development practices.

I directed the Flight Operations & Crew Technology delivery team in support of crew scheduling, flight and flight service business units.Accomplishments:Successfully delivered the Flight Attendant (FA) Contract iniative in accordance with the collective barganing agreement assiciated with the America West and US Airways merger. This effort consolidated 8,000 flight attendants on a common crew management system.Directed development and deployment of a Crew Portal product for flight attendants comprised of My Schedule, Electronic Trade Board, and Reserve Open Time Assignment features.Led development and implementation of FAA mandated (FAR117) pilot rest rules for US Airways midrange applications.Directed deployment and integration of the AirVision Sabre product which integrates 3rd party catering vendors, meal planning and crew scheduling.

I directed a team of on-shore / off-shore IT resources in support of the Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) SCEPTRE system. This integrated system provides tracking of maintenance activity on aircraft, accumulation of cycles and times on key aircraft parts, all supply chain activity and maintenance planning activity.AccomplishmentsLed the deployment team for the rollout of the Single Sign On (SSO) product to all maintenance stations at the airline. This effort had a short time frame and required the deployment team of 20+ individuals to enroll 2,300+ mechanics in four months.Program manager for a 2-year merger / consolidation of US Airways and America West M&E applications for the Technical Operations Division. The program consisted of 60+ unique projects managed by five project managers and delivered data / file conversions, new system interfaces, functional enhancements and system decommissions.
