I currently manage the $2.2 million CFANS annual giving program, which I've grown into the second largest annual giving program at the University, and a portfolio of mid-level donors. I work on developing strategic plans, making processes smoother, and identifying opportunities for clarity or direction in the work of Development. This ensures our donors are happy, we're responding to the needs of the departments we work with, and there's more clarity amongst central units. I also work closely with many of our internal partners to create development materials and assist departments with their annual giving efforts. I liaison with multiple areas at the University of Minnesota Foundation and with the CFANS Alumni Society Board. I oversee the donor relations position and student workers. Successes: Played a key role in crafting a proposal and follow up communications to secure the largest pledge in the history of the University ($60M) as the lead gift in FAARM, a $200M capital project. Reinvigorated Give to the Max Day efforts, doubling college-wide revenue and increasing donor participation by 450%. Established the CFANS Dean’s Circle, which increased leadership annual giving during the pandemic. In FY21, CFANS annual giving had the largest increases in donors and dollars at any UMN undergraduate college.
