      I was given the incredible opportunity to implement a global e-procurement strategy in 23 global sites. My efforts, along with the team, saved the company $475,000+ in operational and reporting costs. The most important part of such an intense global implementation, isn’t the roll-out itself, but the support and user experience which comes after. To ensure widespread adoption, I performed focus groups and one on one qualitative assessments with employees to determine choke points. I also assessed the productivity of our staff, based on lean six sigma principles and time and motion studies, to identify repetitive tasks better suited for automation and focus on organizational efficiency.

      I had two objectives at Caterpillar: 1) Develop Business Intelligence Reporting for the Latin American market, and 2) Serve as a Leadership Coach and Corporate Trainer. I was tasked by executive management to develop a business intelligence report assessing the competitive standing of Caterpillar’s Latin American heavy machinery sales against global competitors in several key areas. My fact-finding mission was used in their strategic planning and vision casting process for global movements. As a leadership coach, I worked with the senior management team of the marketing division to develop training programs in the Latin American division for B2B management, and evaluated the effectiveness of the training based on an assessment influenced by the ADDIE model. The results? 90% retention rate of all information delivered in our training.
