I act as an accountability partner and mentor for a group of about three hundred first-time college students at Johnson County Community College. I provide intentional outreach, just-in-time information, assistance with questions, and referral to appropriate departments. I am a part of the new Pathways program that seeks to help students navigate the complexities of college and help them succeed.
