Adrian is a robust board level executive who has loads of gravitas in the organisation. He is able to develop a strong network that provides the necessary support for the major initiatives for which he has accountability. Adrian has a capability to motivate major change initiatives and for getting board level approval for the implementattion of these.

Adrian is an inspiring leader having the rare talent to bring IT to life in the business context. I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Adrian deliver 'Evolve' to Morrisons plc - this transformation programme having 'worldwide' stature provided the catalyst for the plc to drive effective and efficient working throughout the vertically integrated group deploying 'end to end' Oracle solutions. Adrian is totally absorbing when he speaks whether to large audiences or small groups of Executives. He can shape and then build the right change, always thinking ahead, and prioritising to greatest effect in tight and difficult situations. Adrian's delivery method achieves the right balance of 'time, cost and quality' with transformation positioned in 'bite sized' chunks for the business alongside maintaining critical BAU activity. I would jump at the chance to work with Adrian again.

Responsible for shaping the future Technology Strategy for Morrisons, I focussed on three priorities:1. Improving links with the wider business to ensure views on technology were understood and to ensure the needs of the business were fully understood and supported.2. Leveraging our investment. Morrisons invested heavily in Technology platforms and we developed strategies to ensure these systems could be used by all employees in a simple, reliable and accessible way. 3. Data Management - not the most exciting aspect of Technology but key to ensure investments are not wasted. I highlighted the need for dedicated Data Management roles throughout the business and ensured training and tools were provided for all responsible individuals so our systems contained high quality information to support tactical and strategic decision making.
