Our solutions address pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative needs and include surgical planning and patient communication support, intraoperative guidance systems, real-time recognition of anatomy, pathology, tools, and activities, bluDot™ pinless landmarking, and digital measurement. We’re also going one step further and helping build an ecosystem of innovative surgical technology companies by offering our machine learning platform as an SDK so other companies can build custom solutions for surgical specialties outside of arthroscopy.

Our solutions reduce procedural time and deliver consistency. Ultimately, our solutions will improve surgical outcomes and democratize surgery by reducing cost and impacting lives. Our AI solutions interpret endoscopic video feeds and recognize anatomical / pathological structures. In addition, Kaliber’s software allows surgeons to obtain precise point to point measurements as well as calculate the area and volume of structures intraoperatively using generic probes. Our AI algorithms provide guidance during a surgical procedure based on the techniques employed by expert surgeons and supported by validated metrics.Kaliber AI bridges preoperative planning, surgical performance, and postoperative communication with patients and their families. We also help surgeons achieve better patient satisfaction - Kaliber AI generates surgical excerpts, assists them communicating their skills and helping patients to understand the surgery they have undergone.Kaliber is headquartered in San Francisco, with research offices in Finland and India.   As an AI Engineer II at STATS I work closely with our AI Scientists in building and optimizing our multi-model computer vision inference pipeline for high throughput and easy scalability. Specifically leveraging AWS batch for running our TensorRT compiled models to achieve maximum runtime performance. Along with leading the pipeline development, I also lead the building of our automated model raining system using Kubernetes to train and evaluate multi-gpu models; automatically compiling the best performing models for deployment to the production pipeline.
