In June 2021, I was promoted to Global Brand Manager for My Little Pony. In this role, I had the opportunity to work across the planning and implementation of the brand relaunch, including the 2021 feature film release for which I managed all logistics across a multi-million dollar budget. I also collaborated on new content with Production teams, including the award winning 2D digital-first series, My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, which I was the brand lead and received Global Brand Consultant credits for. I was also the primary franchise contact for multiple stakeholder groups across the brand blueprint, working closely with these to align and advise on strategy, own brand approvals from concept to completion, gain and disseminate insights, while building and nurturing strong relationships with colleagues globally.I undertook the additional responsibility of line managing the Team Assistant from January 2022 onwards. In December 2019, I started in a new position at eOne - Coordinator, Global Brand Management, for Ricky Zoom - supporting the Global Brand Director across the launch and continued development of the brand.As of March 2021, I took on responsibilities with the My Little Pony brand, supporting in the lead up to the new movie and launch of the next generation of this beloved brand with an almost 40-year heritage.As part of a small team, I had the opportunity to develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the business blueprint and take ownership of various exciting projects. Prior to my role shifting towards a solely Global Brand Management focus in July 2020, I also supported across UK marketing. Here, I led and project managed various marketing, PR and social campaigns and relationships, working with key broadcasters, agencies, master toy and licensing partners to collaborate on series and product launches, and beyond. Between July 2016 and July 2017, I completed a placement year at Mattel, Inc., working as Brand Activation Intern for Boys and Games brands in both the UK and Nordics markets. Within my role, I worked across a wide portfolio across a range of toy categories, across both owned IP and licensed properties. My internship was primarily focused around supporting the Boys Brand Activation team in everything from campaigns to admin work. I also had the opportunity to take on extra responsibilities within the Action Figures portfolio whilst there was a gap within my team. I had the opportunity to work on creating a TV commercial, be thoroughly involved in two showroom refits, present on many different occasions in many different situations (from retailer previews to licensor summits to internal presentations), took part in a project to overhaul the creative processes of the business, work on a team based project with other interns and help in the creation and development of marketing campaigns, from briefing to execution, to name just a few of the bigger projects over the course of my year. I was also involved in the organisation of internal events and promoted them within the office, such as a Childrens' Christmas Party for my colleagues' families and leading a launch event for Cars 3 products.
