Work on a majority of project types that consist of educational projects in the New Jersey public school system, grades Pre-K through 12. Involved in all stages of project development (i.e. Pre-schematic design, Design Development, Construction Drawings, Construction Administration) and state submissions to the Department of Education. Fulfill project manager responsibilities overseeing the design process and stages of construction. Perform necessary code analysis and coordinate production of drawings with various engineering consultants and design professionals.

Area Design Group is a small architecture firm with mainly residential projects: 1-2 family dwellings, custom and stock plan new construction, additions, renovations, alterations, repairs, accessory structures. Small commercial work including tenant "fit-outs," mercantile and business uses under 10,000 sq.ft.My position:Includes all tasks and roles, previously performed as Architectural Designer. Involved with initial consultations with clients, and provides continuous communication through design development, construction drawing and construction administration phases.

My position:Involved in all stages of design (i.e. preliminary design, design development and construction drawings). Work directly with contractors, consultants and clients during design stages and construction administration. Prepare presentation drawings for township zoning and planning boards. Prepare construction drawings, details and specifications for review. Perform necessary code analysis and check drawings for code compliance. Perform office management duties (i.e. filing, copying, faxing, managing phones)

Draftsman

My position:Summer intern and part time employee as a draftsman. Transferred hand drawings for preliminary designs into the computer. Revised computer CAD drawings from red line drawings reviewed by the Architect and senior staff. Performed office management duties (i.e. filing, copying, faxing, managing phones)

Brown & Glynn Construction Company is a home improvement company, specializing in residential and small commercial construction projects in central New Jersey. My position: Managed a crew whose tasks were demolition and cleanup, and operated small vehicles to transport site debris to waste management facilities. Lifeguard Captain

Crystal Springs Family Aquatic Center is a family water park which includes water attractions, various pools, a 25 yard lap pool, beach area and barbecue grove. It is only operated in the summer season from May to September. My position: Lifeguard, supervisor and trainer. Certifications included Shallow Water by Ellis & Associates, Lifeguard by American Red Cross and CPR. Tasks included performing and guiding daily in-service training sessions, monitoring activities around the water attractions, enforcing park rules, and offering customer service when requested.
