  Embarked on a week of work experience at the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland alongside a dedicated and organised team of Archivists and Assistant Archivists. My responsibilities and experience included:- Working and experiencing the searchroom of an archive with a brief introduction to the depositing system, accessioning and listing. - Worked on an enquiry to the archive regarding Papillon Hall and its extension constructed by Edwin Lutyens in 1903; despite the archive holding no architectural plans, I was able to redirect the user to the Royal Institute of Architects. - Worked on digitisation, the more public-led duties of the Record Office, including scanning documents, editing digital copies, using editing software (such as Photoshop, Paint and GIMP).
