      Performed project management duties for capital infrastructure projects such as highway, athletic fields, community and public works building improvements for municipal clients, ranging in construction costs from $20,000 to $5,000,000. Responsibilities included conducting feasibility studies, providing input on initial concepts to design engineers, preparation of preliminary construction and design estimates, attendance at stakeholder and public meetings, preparation of public bidding documents and specifications, specifying construction items, permit identification and acquisition, performing bid analysis and providing recommendation to initiate kick-off of construction activities. During the construction phase, reviewed and evaluated submittals, coordinated with utility companies and Local, County, State and Federal agencies (including NJDOT, NJDEP and FHWA), ensured contractor maintenance of project schedule, analyzed value engineered solutions, performed on-site inspections, supervised field inspection personnel and reviewed field reports. Additional responsibilities included preparing invoices and change orders, preparing progress reports for clients, reviewing requests for information and providing recommendations, drafting correspondence to document any contractual issues that may have lead to litigation, and reviewing and recommending liquidated damages assessments, as necessary. Project closeout duties included ensuring maintenance bond compliance and acquisition of final funding reimbursements from grant agencies as applicable. For Federal grants, attended interim & final record audits for compliance with funding agreements including Affirmative Action D/S/ESBE goals. Project closeout was accomplished regularly in a timely and expedient fashion. Types of projects included: roadway improvements, bicycle facilities, pedestrian facilities, athletic fields, community centers, parks and streetscape improvements.
