Kenny originally began working for me as Chainman as part the soil hospital on the Olympic Park development. Having shown a quick grasp to site skills, and a exceptional knowledge of plant and equipment, Kenny was quickly given the new role of logistics coordinator. Kenny has extremely good people skills, and thrives on working in high pressure environments. The commonly used phrase of "If you need something on site, then Kenny is the man to get it," was highly deserved. I would have no hesitation in having Kenny work for or with me again.

Alstom Transport – Nottingham I am currently working for Alstom Transport as part of a joint venture (Taylor Woodrow Alstom JV) delivering the Nottingham NET (phase 2) project; this phase includes two additional tram lines out of the city center. I work within what is known as the OPC team Alstom Transport; as a team we are the main interface between the tack team for Alstom and Taylor Woodrow; Alstom are tasked with all of the installation of the rail slab track, rails and overhead poles and power cable instillations. Logistically this is quite a demanding project due to the amount of satellite sites around the city and the planning permissions set in place by the local council and NET (client). In my time here I have set up, maintained and managed a delivery management system to ensure better planning for Alstoms side of the project. My main roles for the company included: •Attending interface and handover meetings – arranging the safest possible access, egress and working areas •Liaising with TW to plan the safest and most time efficient access/egress to all sites for all deliveries. •Liaising with company planners, the procurement team, site managers and engineers to schedule planned works for the weeks ahead. •Managing/planning all plant and material movements around the project to the most cost effective and time efficient manner as possible including producing task briefings and RAMS for the movements. •Ensuring all deliveries are made in compliance to the projects EHS regulations and County Councils planning permissions. •Supervising HGV/HIAB operators loading/unloading materials and machinery on site (typically abnormal loads).
