I undertook the role of an Engineering Intern at the Optik Consultancy programme, which assigned us a project from an industry partner. I worked with a group of interns to complete a project given to us by our industry partner SpeeDx. I served in the Singapore Armed Forces for 1 year and 10 months for my mandatory National Service as required by the Singaporean government. I specialised in field reconnaissance and attained the rank of Third Sergeant, which involved the responsibilites of leading and training a team of soldiers to complete complex tasks in high pressure training environments.
