Peter Leask CEng

I have worked with Chris for nearly a decade now and have always been impressed with his ability to build a high performing team that can deliver excellent results that really benefit the BAE Systems business. For the past few years Chris has been managing a group of nearly 50 engineers and scientists and in this position he has excelled as a natural leader, who can develop a coherent strategy for business growth, within a fast paced defence environment, while adhering to appropriate governance and manageable levels of risk exposure. Prior to his present role Chris had a proven track record of bidding for, winning and managing a number of technically complex R&D projects for the BAE Systems Advanced Technology Centre. As a project manager and technical expert Chris achieved excellent results from the teams working on his contracts and produced results which have significantly enhanced the capabilities of our main customer. Chris has a deep technical understanding of engineering concepts, across the full product lifecycle, is quick to pick up new ideas and has the capacity to develop them into prototypes and products which achieve a high level of performance. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris and believe that he will add significant value and benefit to any organisation.
