      The Armed Forces Officers Club and Hotel was established in Abu Dhabi under the guidance of the late Father of the Nation His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and was inaugurated on the 1st of December 1997. The property was designed by famous French architect Mr. Roger Tallibert. The design of the building is inspired by a desert Falcon» SHAHIN«. The Club offers various experiences for events, sports and recreation. It contains 600 luxury rooms and suites, 32 banqueting and meeting rooms, a modern gym and spa, an Olympic sized indoor swimming pool, an outdoor leisure pool, athletic facilities for both indoor and outdoor, kid’s play area, a range of outstanding restaurants, cafes and shisha, and a mix of retail outlets. Currently, the Armed Forces Officers Club and Hotel is being refurbished, complete with its new brand, to include a high-tech centralized catering facility, outdoor venues, luxury beachside villas and other facilities. Aiming an overall innovative resort experience. Geographically, the site of the club and hotel occupies an area of 579,000sq.m in the southeastern side of Abu Dhabi Island located 12 kilometers from the capital city center and 15 kilometers from the Abu Dhabi International Airport.
