Was successful in this mandate by achieving the following: - Successfully rolled out 25 technical employees into a private company in the first week successfully opening up communications amidst stalled and hostile negotiations. - Fought or negotiated settlement on over 10 lawsuits including departing executives and wrongful dismissals. - Closed down Canadian headquarters as this was a pure cost center, released remaining employees. - Set corporate strategy with reduced cash flow providing timely advice to the Board of Directors. - Reviewed and closed two financially non-viable wholly owned subsidiaries in the Netherlands. Bought key assets back from the liquidator. - Remaining 92.5% owned viable subsidiary, Aucxis Trading Solutions (ATS) was in the control of a hostile founder in Belgium. ATS had 32 employees and profitable annual revenues of 8 million euros. Achieved buy in from long term senior management team and subsequently ousted the founder. Took over managerial control of ATS, and was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, ATS Belgium (now Aucxis).
