Won helped us through a difficult migration. He came into a pretty chaotic situation an immediately started adding value, I still regularly refer to the documentation that he wrote in his first few days with our team. He was incredibly diligent about chasing down loose ends and cleaning up "good enough" code before it could turn into technical debt. I appreciate the effort he put in to making sure that the services he worked on didn't just work, but were easy to work on and easy to debug. Won made significant positive contributions to our codebase and our documentation, besides being fun and easy to work with. I learned a lot from working with Won. Not just from knowledge sharing meetings, but also the discussions that started happening in our developer chat an in PR comments. I hope to work with him again.

Won worked as a freelancer in our team and assisted us with the migration of several microservices. Won is a self-starter and provided high impact contributions from day 1. He was really thorough with the tasks that he completed. His code changes were always of very high quality. It was well thought through, fully tested, and included documentation describing the use cases, architectural decisions, as well as migration strategies. Even though Won was not familiar with our tech stack, he got up to speed really quickly and was able to apply his solid engineering skills to make some impactful improvements to the existing codebase. I really enjoyed working with Won and would gladly recommend him to any team.

Develop scalable and resilient microservices in Clojure and ClojureScript. About 200 million items from 20 warehouses across Europe traversed through the software systems every day 24/7 in 2019 and the amount is rapidly growing. Our team enabled direct replenishment of stocks from return centers, reducing the warehouse processing steps and additional transportation. This directly contributed to cost reduction and meeting expected demands by optimally redistributing goods received. (+ 8.3 Meur/y from returns, refurbishment) - Direct replenishment from return centers, reducing the hub warehouse processing steps and additional transportation(User packs the item for the right destination. 100 possible combinations for a single source warehouse). - Direct relocation of wholesale articles reducing of Warehouse Movement Orders (WMOs) by sidelining for refurbished items (2.5% of all returns volume) - Enables faster processing of loading units in inbound to reduce manual effort Show less
