I met Pablo during our Masters program at UQ and was privileged to have worked alongside him. He has a methodical mind and strong technical knowledge that allowed him to flourish in a challenging, rigorous environment. More importantly, he has a passion for conservation, biology and the environment at large and would be an asset to any organisation, institution that welcome him.

Linking the Central American Landscape works to conserve biodiversity and strengthen ecosystem connectivity in five landscapes in the region: Guld of Honduras (Belize, Honduras and Guatemala), Barra de Santiago (El Salvador), La Moskitia (Honduras and Nicaragua), Caribbean Nicaragua - Costa Rica, and La Amistad (Costa Rica and Panama). The program works in 16 protected areas, two OECMs (Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures), and their closest connectivity zones. It joins efforts with state institutions, local communities, indigenous peoples, the productive sector and civil society organizations with four main goals: Improve management of the protected areas; improve connectivity between protected areas with restoration and sustainable production practices; improve the governance of the five landscapes, and strengthen regional conservation. The German Cooperation funds this Program through KfW, and operates within the framework of the activities of the Central American Integration System in coordination with its Central American Commission for Environment and Development.
