Great HR practices are the precursor to finding and developing great people, and only with great people can we have great organizations. We are creating a new product vertical in the HR tech space - a HR Data Platform that combines I/O psychology with data science to provide organizations with next generation data tools for HR transformation and data/science backed talent decisions. Responsible for the planning, execution, marketing and operations of Djuice, a mobile internet service portal under the Telenor Group of Norway. Djuice with it’s headquarter in Norway was a 200 member company that developed WAP content platforms at the time. The platform was licensed to DiGi as the backbone for all mobile data services. The position required a close working relationship with the business and technology teams in Norway while establishing and encouraging the development of local mobile content, which was extremely scarce at the time. Another major achievement while at DiGi was the setting up of the third party mobile reverse billing industry known as Content Provider Access (“CPA”). Telenor conceived the model in reference to NTT Docomo’s successful iMode model that enabled third party content providers to create and deploy mobile content. Telenor’s version of CPA was an instant success in Norway and the concept was quickly rolled out to all countries with Telenor subsidiaries. To enable the success of the CPA model required the participation of all major mobile operators within each country to agree to content provider friendly revenue share terms and a common shortcode allocation system for content providers. Responsible for successfully organizing and lobbying all competing mobile operators to discuss and agree to the setting up of the CPA model in Malaysia, a major breakthrough at the time. The CPA model was again an instant success in Malaysia with annual industry revenue estimated at RM500 million and became the starting ripple of explosive mobile content growth in South East Asia for the subsequent years. Was also involved the forming of the business case, operations, technical platform development and management of content providers for the CPA business. Show less
