I worked with Karen at CSC for about 18 months. I found her to be very well versed in accounting practices. She always tried to protect the best interests of the company. I found Karen easy to work with and would talk with her frequently about budgets and expenses trying to ensure that reporting was as accurate as possible. Karen especially took an interest in people who asked questions in an effort to ensure that the numbers were accurate and would work with those people to help them have a better understanding of the company's finances. She accomplished a lot with a very small accounting department. Accounting can be a difficult place to work in a company - and Karen handled it well.

I have been on the Board of the local chapter of Financial Executives International with Karen for several years. She has always brought a lot to the table, all the way from her technical knowledge to suggestions on how to connect with other finance executives. As the former CFO of Columbus Show Case I know the challenges that go with her position and respect Karen's work. Andy Anderson

I worked at the RBG Group prior to the sale of the company which is know now as Rummler-Brache. It is a process improvement company where I was responsible for managing a team of staff accountants, preparing financials, payroll, treasury management and also served as the IT backup. I was hired after this company was acquired to establish all reporting and the new financial system. I sucessfully saw the company though it's first audit before it was sold.
