Water Innovation Hub Manager
-
Feb 2016 - Dec 2020
I manage the Water Innovation Hub for the TWENTY65 research consortium, bringing academia, supply chain, industry, policy makers and regulators together to break down the silos traditionally seen in the industry in order to facilitate responsible innovation and more resilient water systems. I have worked in Environmental and Water industries for over 20 years and with a commercial background I have developed and delivered a range of large, international programmes involving a wide range of stakeholders. I have comprehensive working knowledge of the water industry and the challenges it faces and have developed an extensive network of contacts over the years. My focus is on innovation in the sector, how to improve and build innovation capability and capacity and how to catalyse the adoption and roll out of innovative technologies. This includes influencing policy through providing evidence, speaking at the APPWG, working with Regulators, and ensuring the relevant stakeholders are engaged at the right stages throughout the innovation cycle. I have delivered high level strategies for Governments to improve water industry performance and have led the concept of a UK Water Technology Accelerator Programme. Show less
