When I was cooperating with Uniwersytet Kazimierza Wielkiego in Bydgoszcz, Poland, Mikolaj was responsible for board games, gamification and student projects there, and was fully professional in what he was doing. I remember cooperation with him very good. What's funny, he proposed one of the heroes to my book "Orzeł Biały", and let me kill that character in a very epic and amusing way. That prooves he is not only professional in his field but also has a proper distance towards himself.

Teaching English has been Mikolaj's a long-term profession. He demostrates excellent professional qualities as well as personal. He has great passion for English language from which stems his solid knowledge of the subject. He leads his classes in an engaging way, uses lots of collaborative activities, team-based games such as board games, board races, role plays, etc. Also, he has exceptional communication skills that not only his colleagues appreciate. He can use them to captivate his students' attention for example by telling them an exciting story. He goes beyond the sources we are traditionally given and tries to expose students to more varied contexts and different ideas. He can be a great role model for other teachers as he is always well-prepared, organized, creative, willing to help, friendly and at all circumstances remains professional. I have learned a lot from him myself by having an opportunity to work with him in one team.
