Creating blog posts relevant to monthly themes (such as mental health, wildlife conservation, protecting oceans, community activism). This requires working to deadlines, communicating in the online space and writing in a non-academic manner. Also required the mastering of many software programs such as Asana and Slack. Weekly sessions in relation to communicating climate change (such as through sharing your personal story, using social media and knowing who you’re talking to) and fundraising. I also was on the team who created the annual crowdfunder launch event, which required co-ordinating an online event with a goal to raise money. Finally, I supported and motivated my own team of fundraisers, allowing us to all smash our fundraising goals and raise money for C4C.
