Lauren Ranalli, MPH (she/hers)

I had the pleasure of supervising Rita during her AmeriCorps placement at Erie Family Health Center. Rita served as a health educator at Erie from September 2008- July 2009. Her responsibilities included implementing a sexual health and pregnancy prevention curriculum for school age children and young adults, providing one-on-one patient education for patients at Erie Teen Health Center, creating a patient newsletter, and developing and leading employee wellness activities. Rita showed a great deal of initiative during her time at Erie. She is an engaging educator and has a natural ability for interacting with patients and community members. She expresses herself well and communicates her ideas clearly. Rita was a dedicated member of our team and I believe that she has a bright future in public health.
