Editor In Chief- Newsletter, Secretary {jIAPS}
-
Sep 2021 - Present
I have been honoured to serve as the Secretary and Editor/Reviewer of the prestigious Scientific Journal of IAPS, also known as {jIAPS}. My primary responsibilities have included setting and tracking future goals and targets for our team, diligently recording minutes, and refining articles submitted by our global network of authors. As the Chief Editor of IAPS' monthly newsletter, I have had the privilege of leading a talented team in delivering insightful content to over 70,000 members worldwide. My focus has always been on fostering a supportive environment that promotes scientific advocacy and encourages intellectual growth. In addition to my editorial roles, I have been actively involved in both the Events Management Working Group and the Recruitment Working Group. This has allowed me to further expand my skill set and contribute to the organization in a multifaceted manner. I am excited to bring the valuable insights and expertise gained from my time with IAPS into my future endeavours and continue making a difference in the world of science and academia. Chief Event Organiser
-
Mar 2022 - Apr 2022
I am immensely proud experience leading a dedicated team in organizing the National pre-preliminary (IYPL) for the International Physics Competition PLANCK. Our prestigious event united 50 top Indian colleges in a competitive, collaborative atmosphere. The event gained even greater prominence with the esteemed Director of IIT Ropar Dr. Rajeev Ahuja as our host and several Physics professors from different IITs and NITs giving keynote talks. Organizing and leading the IYPL was a significant responsibility that allowed me to refine my leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills. I developed and executed a strategic plan that involved close collaboration with various stakeholders, including college administrators, industry partners, and student teams. My role also entailed creating an efficient team structure, allocating resources, and ensuring clear communication channels. The event showcased the nation's brightest young minds, highlighting their talent, creativity, and teamwork, where the winning team represented the country at the PLANCKS in Germany. The experience was an invaluable learning opportunity for me and a testament to the power of teamwork and determination in achieving success. Show less
