I have joined Martin Loessner’s Lab to carry out a project that aims to deimmunize enzymatic domain of bacteriophage-derrived endolysin - a potential drug against multi drug resistant Staphylococcus aureus. I’m clonning a collection of variants that provided promising limitation of possible epitopes via in silico simulations. Enzymatic activity against S. aureus cell wall and immunogenicity will be studied in microbiological and immunological assays. This research was focused on application of genetically modified adenoviruses in modification of immunological response in infectious diseases and as a novel anti-cancer drugs. I was working with both primary and malignant cell lines and different clones of modified adenoviruses, coronaviruses and lentiviruses in prominent laboratory lead by dr hab. Monika Staniszewska.
