Lori provided outstanding leadership and service as the first Soroptimist Golden West Region (GWR) Conference Chair. She and her committee were "over the top" in planning the June 2-4, 2011 spring conference including negotiating a "screaming deal" for hotel room rate and meals. Conference participants noted positive changes and improvement in the level of service and "flow" of events and activities. More likely, this region conference model will be shared and recommended to the other 51 regions within Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA) Federation.
