  During my time at Alten I worked mostly with inhouse projects and product development within Medtech. I had a broad role where I got to use my problem-solving skills along with my creative side. I have been involved in designing products in Solidworks, designing test specifications, performing tests on prototypes and iterating improvements. I have also had the opportunity to analyze data from external studies and from raw data and presented the findings to interested parties in an easy-to-grasp form where I could develop and use my skills in Excel and graphic design. I have been able to improve my programming and embedded systems skills through educations in C++ and through building more advanced prototypes. I have also had the opportunity of working with regulatory compliance and the Medical Device Regulation MDR with a heavy focus on Risk Analysis (ISO 14971) and Biocompatibility (ISO 10993-1) I have received and worked with project management and have been in charge of education sessions for customers (companies) on how to apply Risk management according to ISO 14971 to their product development processes.   Two separate projects within Product Development in collaboration between IKEA and LTH. The first project was part of the course "Design in Thermoplastic Materials" in which my team and I developed a proposal for a new mechanism for one of IKEA's coming products. The work included market research, material analysis, cost calculations, CAD modelling, FEM-analysis and Moldflow analysis. At the end of the project, the final product was presented as a functional prototype.
