Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution; Insolvency; Commercial Property and Transactions Advising and representing clients in relation to a variety of commercial contractual disputes, and insolvency matters including debt recovery, personal and corporate insolvency and public examinations. Preparation of documents including court proceeding, settlement deeds, easement documents and contract and sale documents for residential and commercial property transactions. One key achievement while at HopgoodGanim was my involvement in a large contractual dispute litigated in the Supreme Court of Queensland. The volume of documents to be disclosed in this matter demanded that we use an electronic litigation database, and ultimately that database grew to contain in excess of 330,000 documents. Due to the nature of the allegations contained in the counterclaim, this matter demanded attention to detail, precise organisational skills, and development of new systems to properly analyse the allegations raised by each party. I held the primary responsibility for organisation and operation of the litigation database. Show less
