My primary role is to encourage members and promote the concept of "whole health" by encouraging members take control of their own health and wellness. RSS performs a wide range of tasks to support members in their own recovery process. My goal is to serve as a role model for hope, personal responsibility, self-advocacy, coping skills development, and community connectedness. I enjoy creating our monthly newsletters that are sent to our clients. These flyers are full of local activities, healthy recipes, and awareness information. Being able to educate the population we serve and partner with other organizations to spread awareness using creative methods is one of the many fulfilling tasks I am able to participate in at Community Support Advocates. I have also designed flyers seeking donations as well as a website for our agency's #givingtuesday project. These were created to tell a story of one particular client to create awareness and connection between donors and the agency.
