      Opening in the autumn of 2019 in central Helsinki, Tripla is the largest construction project in Finland. The total cost of the project is approximately EUR 1 billion, of which EUR 130 million comes from the European Investment Bank. Tripla is a three-block urban centre that consists of 50,000 square metres of office space, a hotel with 430 rooms, over 400 apartments for a thousand people, and the Mall of Tripla with a total of 115,000 square metres including a public transportation hub. With its 250 stores, the Mall of Tripla will be the largest shopping centre in Finland, offering not only extensive shopping and restaurant services but also vibrant cultural and sports activities, like the Finnish Music Hall of Fame and an indoor summer concept Helsinki SurfBeach, and excellent transport connections. Mall of Tripla enjoys the best location in Finland in Helsinki’s Pasila region, the main public transportation hub in Finland. Currently, the Pasila transportation hub has some 40 million annual users. The whole area of central Pasila surrounding Mall of Tripla is currently being renewed, and the investment in the renewal project is approximately EUR 5 billion. When complete, the new Pasila public transportation hub will be the busiest in Finland, with some 200,000 travellers passing through each day. It takes only 4 minutes to the Helsinki city centre and 22 minutes to Helsinki Airport by train. More than a million people live within a 30-minute drive. A total of 40,000 square metres of Mall of Tripla’s premises have already been leased out, including 12,000 square metres for grocery stores, generating a steady flow of customers from morning to evening, seven days a week.
