Hal Sharpe

Few people get into positions of leadership, either in politics or in the corporate world, without a large ego. That means the expectation re the ideas they put forward is that people will go along with them, often unchallenged. Here, more than at any other time, is the need for an instance of "check & balance". Ellis Mass offers this, less in the spirit of a devil's advocate and more in the spirit of truly helping. Given Mass' professional background, the expression, "Been there/done that", applies. I had worked with Ellis for over two years and there was not a single bi-weekly meeting in which Ellis' insights were not rich. It's rare when I give someone a five-star rating, but re marketing and branding strategy Mass gets five stars in my book.
