I was promoted to EVP, CFO and General Counsel because of my in-depth knowledge of the business and the oil and gas marketplace. Collaborating with my team, I: ► Transformed strategy from a traditional distribution model to a cutting edge “mill-to-market” model incorporating value-added machining to complete and finish parts, leveraging the company’s supply chain from the mill to the finished product which enabled the company to strategically (and sustainably) partner with the customer on value rather than solely on price. ► Delivered $150M+ incremental liquidity during the worst downturn of the global oil industry, leading debt refinancing, recapitalization, and trade financing. ► Introduced business analytics and intelligence rigor to the company to create strategic alignment with financial, operational, and sales plans, and supported operational decision-making, maximized returns on capital, and drove company performance. ► Led key financial initiatives supporting the growth of the company and the professionalization of its finance, accounting, and budgeting capabilities with a focus on liquidity management, board meetings, capex projects, and sales and operations planning. ► Authored and approved board of directors, investor, and management presentations, including setting the agenda and overseeing the financial, commercial, operational, and strategic content of the presentations.
