I've had the immense pleasure of working alongside Jim for the past two years. Our roles were created to act as inside consultants to the organization, and change the culture and landscape of Sony retail through rigorous strategy, training, and new business development. Jim's insight proved to be invaluable time and time again. He consistently and constructively challenged the average and proposed creative solutions that helped grow the business exponentially, and proved his leadership ability as a coach and mentor for hundreds of other employees across the country. I can honestly say that Jim is one of the most talented, driven, and passionate people that I've ever worked with. He quickly became one of the most respected leaders in the organization, and was directly responsible for the career growth of many other managers. One of Jim's most unique talents is his ability to adjust his role seamlessly in different situations. He reads his audience, adjust his approach to relate, and can either take lead in a group of peers or act as a sounding board for new ideas while simply offering constructive criticism and positive reinforcement. One thing that I could always count on Jim to do is look at a situation objectively, and present a way to overcome an obstacle that nobody else in the room had thought of. He is one of the hardest working and most dedicated people that I've worked with as well, and regularly was the first person to show up and the last to leave for the day. I have no doubt that he will soon lead an organization to greatness, while inspiring, challenging, and developing a large number of people along the way.
