Mark joined Hyper Luminal as a consultant, during a period of exceptional growth, to help improve various internal processes, including recruitment. Mark’s contribution to our business has resulted in Hyper Luminal securing our largest project to date. He is a great team player, incredibly well organised and complemented the team perfectly. Mark is funny, intelligent and incredibly sociable, and his wealth of stories and experience has helped to fast track learning across the team, further strengthening our culture. He is an invaluable resource who I can’t recommend enough - if you have the chance to work with this man then grab it!

Mark was a joy to work for. He's an extremely organised and driven individual, with a massive amount of knowledge in a range of subjects. In addition to this, His humour and quick wittedness makes him a great boss. I wish I could wind back the clock and work with him and the rest of the team again.

Questions arise around trust, credibility and value for money. It makes absolute sense that any owner or manager in a business is protective of its products, I.P. and sensitive information, even its team members. Not all consultants are the same. Here at MLC we have a concept that identifies us as ‘Journeymen’. This simply means"We will come into your business for as long as you need. We work with you to help develop the skills and fill gaps in knowledge. We believe in everyones learning and the motivational power of that knowledge."

Having built and managed Rockstar Lincoln as a QA/Production group and successful studio from the ground up for 12 years, this represents a light summary of my responsibilities and achievements during that time. Managing the day-to-day operation of a 100 strong studio providing world-class QA support, Localisation, and Production services for all the products released through Rockstar Games to 2011. Prior to 2004 this also included all the products released under Take 2's labels of Gotham, Gathering and 2k Games. Over 200 titles from across the whole company, 1st and 3rd party.- Initial setup of a small QA group (6 staff) with subsequent growth over a 10 year period with associated operations involving sourcing, fitting and securing relevant premises as an independent studio within Take 2 and Rockstar Games. By 2011 Rockstar Lincoln consisted of 3 separate buildings all fully networked and manned. - Identifying good business strategy with critical success factors for Lincoln, to help it deliver on the needs of other studios, as the complexity of products and the industry in general increased. - Full management and responsibility of annual operating costs and spending, keeping the QA support costs frugal while maintaining the highest quality. - Development and management of internal Human Resource processes, from recruitment and training through to personal performance management and exit protocols. - Creation and implementation of security systems and inventory to manage studio data and equipment usage. - Creation and customisation of in house tools developed to continuously improve Lincoln's support services for better efficiency and effectiveness.Extract from my portfolio of titles:Multiple PlatformsThe Grand Theft Auto Series (all versions from GTA2 on)Red Dead SeriesMidnight Club SeriesMax Payne SeriesBullyManhunt SeriesThe WarriorsHidden & Dangerous SeriesVietcong SeriesMafiaConflict SeriesSerious Sam Series
