SKE was founded as an asset management company by a property owner who wanted a higher standard of quality and service for owners and occupiers, as well as better and more relevant information about his assets.The team currently manage over 300 residential, retail, restaurant and office properties around South Kensington. These include forthcoming redevelopment and conservation projects as well as properties targeted for long term income and investment growth.In my role, in accordance with the company's strategy and objectives, I am responsible for the performance of the commercial portfolio with an estimated value of £250 million. Particular areas of focus include:• Curating a tenant mix which enhances the local area.• Assisting with forming the strategy and long term plan for the commercial portfolio. • Building strong relationships with existing / potential commercial tenants and community stakeholders. • Managing refurbishment projects from design through to completion.• Negotiating commercial rent reviews, lease renewals and other lease events.• Overseeing service charge budgets, rent roll and payment terms for commercial tenants. • Producing commercial reports for inclusion within quarterly board reports.
